Import demo

Here’s few facts you should know before importing:

You can import any demo from this demo list. All demos are included in the theme.
You can import full demo (ie. posts, pages, image, content..) or just demo settings (i.e. only theme-style). The latter case is helpful when your site already has content and you don’t want to mess things up.
You need to enter a valid license code before importing demo data.
Not all hosting allows one-click import (e.g. GoDaddy), so if you can’t import by our one-click button, please import demo manually.

Import full content by one-click button

Install Fox theme + register license code + install One-click import demo plugin. If you haven’t done yet, revisit Install page. After doing those 3 things, you’ll see menu Dashboard > Fox Magazine > Import demo. That menu won’t show up unless you’ve done all.
Go to Dashboard > Fox Magazine > Import Demo Data*, choose demo you want to import. Click *Import Demo button > Continue & Import > then wait for few minutes.
If there’s no error, you’ll see a green/yellow screens. Green means there’s no errors. Yellow means there are some warnings during importing process, but they’re not mandatory.

Import demo settings/style only

Go to Dashboard > Fox Magazine > Import Demo Data, click “Switch to Manual Import“
Visit this demo list to find the demo you want to import. Those demos are sorted by name A-Z. Then download the customizer.dat file
Upload the Customizer file. Then hit “Continue & Import“

Uninstall demo

After installing demo, if you change your mind, you can uninstall it to bring the site back to previous status. From that, you can install other demo. To uninstall that, go to Dashboard > The Fox > Import Demo Data. Click “Uninstall Demo”.

Import demo manually

Some hostings have insanely high level of security that don’t allow you to use One-click import demo to import (not Fox theme, any theme). GoDaddy is one example.

If you can’t import demo data for any reason, please try to import it manually.
