Fern documentation

Fern is a minimal blog theme for WordPress. One column, no sidebar, no cards: the blog reads as an index of dated rows, and a post reads as a page of text. Alongside the ordinary blog it carries two content types of its own — notes for short posts without a title, and a portfolio for work worth showing.

New here? Install the theme, then run Setup — one button builds the pages, the menu and the settings, so there is something to look at before you touch anything.

Every option lives in the Customizer, at Appearance → Customize. There is no separate options framework and no page builder.
